As well as the Roulette
Rule Book, we have a very simple 1 stage 'strategy'
for you to follow.
Are you ready for it?
Never play US Roulette if European Roulette
is available
Fairly simple wasn't it? There
are 2 varieties of Roulette, European (also known as
French) and US. They differ in the number of 'beds' (slots)
there are on the wheel. European Roulette has 37 beds,
1 - 36 and 1 zero. The US version has 38 beds, 1 - 36
and 2 zeros.
Despite the US version having an
extra bed, and thus making your chances of winning a
shade longer than the European version, the payout odds
are the same.
This
excerpt is taken from Winneronline:
"With the 38-number
American wheel, the house has a big 5.26 percent edge.
(Whenever 0 or 00 are hit, all bets lose.)
With the 37-number European
wheel, the house advantage is 2.7 percent. In other words,
on every $100 bet the house makes $2.70.
Obviously you want to look
for casinos that offer the European, single-zero wheel
-- and many online casinos do" |
